Wimpy Saints and Spiritual Warfare

Ephesians 6:10-18

Webster’s College Dictionary defines wimpy as:

1.      A weak, ineffectual, timid person

2.     To be or act like a wimp

3.    To show timidity or cowardice

4.     Chicken out

Have you ever considered yourself to be a wimp?  I certainly do not enjoy having someone call me a wimp, especially when it is my own kids.  Like, “Come on, Dad, ride the roller coaster with me, you wimp!”  It just sends chills up and down my spine.

Our central passage we will consider this morning gives us sufficient information to let us in on the greatest battle that has ever been waged and we find out from other passages tat it is actually escalating at an enormous rate.  Mankind as we know it is going to fall.  It is doomed and Satan knows it.  But does he care?  Absolutely not!  In fact, mankind has always been his pawns in striking out at God.  Look at Ephesians 6:10 with me now.
