We Are Because.....

Think about it.  “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”  This one verse is probably the most important verse in the entire Bible.  It answers many of our questions about the origin of life.  I am a creationist!  I believe that God was the originator of all things.  We may develop our theologies and have our view and interpretations of various and sundry scriptures, but without believing that God is and was the creator of all things, none of the rest matter.

               The Bible is not a text book of science but when it speaks scientifically it speaks truth.  We as adults need to take an unmovable stand when it comes to the created order and the origin of life.  How did you answer your children when the first asked you where they came from?  Stumble or stutter?  I am reminded of the young boy who came in from playing with his friends one day and asked his mother, “Where did we come from?”  She took him into his father and together they quite elaborately told him the facts of life.  After an hour or so of lecture, he said, “Wow, wait till I tell Bobby, he said he was from St. Louis.  He will never believe where we are from.”
