The Armor for Living

Ephesians 6:10-20

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week.  Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at the age of 93.  The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started. Well, let’s look at our passage of scripture before we start doing the hokey pokey this morning.  Stand with me as we read Ephesians 6:10-20.

Living every day life can become at times a test for us.  We are busy doing this or doing that either at home or at work and we become very involved.  In fact, we can become very absorbed in the immediate and it is at those times when our guard is down or our defenses are lax that we can come under a sneak attack by Satan and his cohorts.  Our passage this morning gives us insight and hope for living our lives as a Christian 24/7.
