Koinonia: Building A Caring Fellowship

On the day of Pentecost the church, God’s people, were empowered with the blessed Holy Spirit of God.  Lives were suddenly and deliberately changed forever.  Things would never be the same for them.  On that day the church was energized by God’s power to perform as representatives of his very self which is reflecting God’s love and character. 

As we investigate chapter 2 we find the 120 Christians on whom the Spirit fell, moving out into the streets declaring to all who were there the mighty words of God, (v. 11).  The group once afraid of the government and the very same ones who had been in hiding were now transformed by the mighty breath of God into a bold, caring KOINONIA (fellowship).
