A Matter of the Will

             During our time together last week we discussed that being a true believer of Christ involved the matter of the heart.  Our salvation, we learned, began with the heart.  “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Roman 10:10.  Our other verse was in Proverbs 4:23 where it says, “Keep your heart with all vigilance; for from it flow the springs of life.”  So, the heart is crucial to our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.  However, coupled with this primary focus on the heart of the individual is the matter of the will.  Now that we have been saved and placed by the power of the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ, what next?  What can we expect?  What faces us as God’s children?
